Fabiano Lombardi is an italian restauranteur and the Chef Patron of Lombardi’s – a five-star italian restaurant chain based in Milan, Italy. Fabiano has been listed among the top five in the World’s 50 Best Chefs Awards since 2012 and has received critical acclaim worldwide for his unparalleled taste.
Project Goals
Lombardi requested an identity package for his brand as a stand-alone chef and caterer. This new brand will be used in his new line of products in the making — products which are also design pieces. They can be bought for actual use in the kitchen (during special events with friends and family) or just for decoration purposes. Ultimately, Fabiano wants his clients to have a fine dining experience in its plenitude.
Brand Values
Local produce is encouraged everywhere Lombardi has opened one of his restaurants. When locally grown, the crops are picked at their peak, leading to the best flavor they could have. Not to mention that more money stays within the community where it is established.
Equality above all things. Fabiano believes every person is the same and should be treated with utmost care and respect. It is not by chance he has not only been praised by his skills in the kitchen, but also by his character. Mother Earth also makes the list for Lombardi, as he makes sure that his businesses are not doing any damage to the environment we all live in. We need to take care of our planet if we want to keep living here.
The Logo
Classy. Elegant. Contemporary. Stylish. Lombardi wanted his brand to convey all these qualities when people looked at his work. By choosing the right serif typeface I was able to achieve the feeling he desired his brand to have. After manually correct some of the characters and adjust the spacing between the letters, I combined the shapes of his name's initials to achieve the ideal icon for his brand.

Fabiano's cooking skills are like magic. The strategy for his campaign is the fact that people like him and want to learn from him. The public expects to learn his tips and tricks to be outstanding in the kitchen. By relating Lombardi's skills and magic, it sparks a curiosity in his target audience about how exactly he does what he does. Treating every recipe like a magic trick keeps the people interested in his brand.
